TEXT n°1: KOBOLO, A VERY DANGEROUS DRUG. The consumption of a new drug nicknamed "KOBOLO" is a real phenomenon in the Gabonese high schools and universities. The name "KOBOLO" is a slang word used by young people to refer to the use of Tramadol, and anti-inflammatory drug close to codeine and morphine prescribed in case of trauma or after an operation. KOBOLO is a combination of anti-pains that acts directly on the brain and brings a sensation of well-being. Associated with a soda, it is as if you sleep, you dream awake. But if you drink KOBOLO with little alcohol, it wakes up the senses asleep. You get hot and do not control yourself anyinore. You become aggressive and violent towards classmates and teachers. Almost every week, the press reports a knife attack among schoolchildren. Many of them are linked to the consumption of this new drug. Newspapers regularly report arrests of traffickers often Cameroonians, Nigerians, Lebanese, Chadians and Guineans or related to the pharmaceutical industry.
