"may"  "Might"  expriment une possibilité

"Might" renforce  une incertitude.

  I think I would hold her in my arms to protect her.

b. Your big brother is listening to LOUD music in the forest.

  I guess I would be mad at him and ask him to turn off his music to enjoy the sound of silence and nature.

c. A friend of yours goes to bed at 11pm every day.

  I suppose I would tell him to go to bed earlier on week days-

a) I won't go to the cinema next weekend... I'll probably go bowling.

b) My sister won't learn Spanish in secondary school... She'll take private classes.

c) My friends won't take the ferry to go to England... The say they will take an airplane instead.

d) Jerry won't go rafting when he visits Australia... He will go scuba-diving.

Exercice 2 :

a) I would probably take my sister by the hand and enter a store or any restaurant I see as quickly as possible.

b) I'd tell him to turn the volume down encase any strange animals hear us.

c) I'd carefully explain to my friend all of the consequences that could affect him if he kept going to sleep at that time.
