One of the great reasons to visit Paris is its impressive number of monuments. The city has many buildings that make it famous. They are the most famous emblems and therefore they are must-sees not to be missed during a visit to this city. Of course, you will not be able to miss a visit to the tower of Notre-Dame de Paris with its 422 steps and you will have one of the most beautiful views of the city. Want to see the most important remnant of the Capetian Palace? Go to the Conciergerie which offers a civil architecture of the fourteenth century simply magnificent. A few meters from Notre-Dame de Paris, is the Sainte-Chapelle which is a jewel of Gothic art. In addition, it is one of the most complete and remarkable sets of stained glass art of that time.
