excuses are not enough to erase the past and will never be enough to erase the past. It doesn't matter if the problem is big or not. maybe some people will see apologies as a way to manipulate a person, others will see apologies as promises to do things differently etc... but no one is able to see apologies as a real way to be forgiven. when a person creates a wound, it heals it does not go away.

1. Genially, apologizing is a sort of help that repairs relationships by getting people talking again, and makes them feel comfortable with each other. Thus, sometimes apologizing isn’t enough due to the fact that it may make the person who is apologising feel better, but for the hurt person it can leave a feeling of disillusionment.
