He had warned me that it would be dangerous, but I didn't believe him. So, I went blindly to where the storm was at its worst. Arriving in the small village of Stormtown, I was initially shocked by the extent of the damage. There were no houses left, and not a soul in sight. Where had all the people gone? Were they all dead, or had they taken refuge somewhere? When I saw that the sky had cleared, I went to look for the inhabitants. But after several hours, I still hadn't found anyone. After searching for more than an hour in the town's hospital, which was also completely empty, I went back outside. Then I saw something in the distance. At first, I couldn't tell what it was, but as the thing sped towards me, I realized what was happening. A tornado. My car was too far away, and I was way too vulnerable on foot. I started to run in the opposite direction, but my stamina wasn't good enough. Desperate, I made a request to heaven to spare me, even though at this point, I just knew I had no chance.
