Choisissez le préterit simple ou le préterit continu

On my first day at work I was a bit nervous. I got (get) up early, had (have) a shower and drinked (drink ) some coffee. I was too nervous to eat. I was thinking I was looking (look) very smart. I was wearing (wear) a suit and my best shoes. I walked (walk) to the bus stop and waited (wait) for the bus. While I was waiting (wait), I was noticing (notice) that people and when my bus arrived (arrive) I was getting (get) on and found (find) a seat. 30 minutes later, I arrived (arrive) at my office. Just as I was getting (get) off the bus I was looking (look) down and realised (realise) that I was wearing (wear) shoes of different colours.

Bonjour, je trouve votre texte tres bien .

je pense pae contre que vous devriez le mettre au preterit simple parce que pour moi quand on met une action au preterit continu, elle finit par etre "coupé" par une autre action.

ex: I was drinking a soda when I heard a sound.
