Rien de très compliqué, à part quelques doublement de consonnes pour mettre la forme Base Verbale + -ing, comme running, swimming...
En Anglais, il y a doublement de consonne quand il y a consonne/voyelle/consonne... (ou si tu préfères, quand une voyelle est entourée de 2 consonnes) et bien sûr en fin de mot...
Exemples =
big => bigger
fat => fatter
run => running
swim => swimming
stop => stopped / stopping
sit ==> sitting

Pour le reste, c'est l'auxiliaire be utilisé au preterit (was/were) suivi de la BV +-ing.
Be étant un auxiliaire, ajout de not entre be et la BV et inversement du sujet et de be dans les phrases interrogatives
Pas besoin d'utiliser l'auxilaire did comme dans les formes simples.
Dernière chose, souviens-toi, que dans les formes simples, BE étant un auxiliaire, il n'a pas besoin de do ou did.
I was busy. ==> was I busy ? ==> I wasn't busy
I am busy ? => am I busy ? ==> I am not busy.
