BEGON FAKE NEWS

Nowadays all people use the internet or social media one way or another. While younger generations may use social platforms like  (...) or (...) , older people are also on social media with (...), (...) and even simple browsers like Google Chrome. A place where misformations take place every day. It is very common to come across an interesting article with good catch phrases, written so well that it makes people believe in things that may have never happened. Everything we share on social media is supposedly true but in reality there is no way to be sure. Our parents always tell us that we have to be careful of what we see or read on the internet because it might fake and normally we just ignore it but in reality that statement is absolutely valid and it really is like that. A lot of people make up stories, events or problems for fun.

Another current problem that involves misinformation is also the spread of hate towards certain topics or communities that need to be spoken about. The internet is a place where everyone can see everything so if one person posts something that they want everyone to believe is true and the way the topic is presented is convincing enough, people who aren’t properly educated about it can be influenced to believe it. With recent technologies it is so easy to create a platform where you can develop a following that will believe and listen to everything said no matter what may or may not be true. You can influence a group of people so easily just by talking nicely. The most active group on the internet is teenagers that are still young and easy to manipulate.

To avoid fake news always check the source of the article you are reading. There are a lot of websites that can check the source and approve it as a reliable one or not. If that isn’t an option you can always ask someone older than you that may have knowledge about the situation. If you have suspicions that the site you are getting your information from isn't reliable check other sites and compare the information you get. If you don't completely trust technology you can always search for books, newspapers or magazines about the topic you're looking for. And your last option is simply to look for official sites or official accounts of people involved in the situation you want to learn more about.
