I think I can make friends with Amit as I'm sure we can really get along together for several reasons.
Firstly, he is the same age as me ; we also do/have the same activities like basketball.
Secondly, he enjoys playing video games and so do I. We could spend the afternoon listening to music / playing instruments.
At school, he is interested in different subjects like me. But he doesn't like English and neither do I.
At the weekend, we could meet our other friends and go together down town.
