 The weather is getting warmer now as we venture south. Dr Rebbeka says that he is thoroughly enjoying all of the new specimens he has discovered but Alice and I have decided to settle soon and send word for others to join us the children have drawn up plan for our future home.

It has been two weeks now since we arrived on that awful ship and started on our way. Today was Jeremiah, the blacksmith and carpenters son, Toby's birthday and we celebrated by making camp early and gathering plants and roots from Dr Rebbekas books for a stew. Jeremiah found a yellow lizard and we swam in the river.
