Sagot :
Document 3 can evoke the desert, destruction, chaos, hell, a sinister version of Disney Land, a family theme park unsuitable for children when visiting Dismaland.
This image really reflects the dystopian theme because everything is gray, cloudy, everything is destroyed, depressing the poster of Disney representing one of the main character of Disney which is Minnie disappears little by little. "It is an apocalyptic and hopeless where only chaos, destruction and despair reigns" It feels like in another planet, but not on Earth. One can suppose perhaps that Dismaland represents the most mysterious secrets of the marvelous and magic DisneyLand park, which hides can be heavy secrets ...
Dismaland was really a temporary artistic project, the event lasted only 5 weeks, between August 21 and September 27, 2015. taking the form of an amusement park. Created by an English artist Banksy, it is located in the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare, in England, on the site of a former leisure area. The general theme of this pop-up art installation, built in secret before being revealed, was to stab Capitalism and in particular the fantasy world of princesses and fairy powder built by Disney. Dismaland on the contrary, is explicitly built not to be frequented by children, Inside the park, we could find the parodies of everything that made us happy when we were children, like the ruins of a building evoking Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland, or a moody park worker wearing mouse ears and holding a dozen sad black balloons. The park, which featured several works by 58 different artists (including 10 by Banksy himself), including Damien Hirst, Jenny Holzer and Jimmy Cauty, was rich in interesting and curious installations, sculptures and graffiti. Dismaland is like an unhealthy and twisted representation of our consumerist culture, and which also offers a satirical view of superficial tourism.
