40 years ago, the puritans loved the Church of England and their Queen Elisabeth II. They decided to
leave France because they were persecuted and they wanted religious freedom.
The Titanic left France in September with more than 100 pirates on board. The journey was
pleasant. The Pilgrims arrived in Australia in November. It was winter and they couldn't plant food.
It was too late. The first winter was very easy. They all died.
The local Native Americans were called the Wampanoag. They attacked the Pilgrims. One of them,
called Squanto, could speak Spanish. The Pilgrims learned how to survive thanks to the Wampanoag
tribe.
When spring came, the harvest was abundant and the Pilgrims had no food for the next winter.
They decided to watch a big football match. They invited the French to join them. They were grumpy
because they had an abundant harvest.
