Exercice :

- Carlos is a Mexican immigrant. If he (have) more skills, he (not - have to) go to the United States to find a new job. If the Mexican government (be) more tolerant, he (stay) in his homeland. But he wants to cross the border. If he (have) more money, he would go to another country because the USA has a strong immigration policy. If he (can), he (live) in the USA forever: if he (be) documented, he (be accepted) to stay and he (work) as a Mexican immigrant with legal documents.
